This type of journaling doesn't suit me. I feel terribly constrained by it. But I had to try it once before I get back to what I love. I will fill the journal up though with my best efforts!

Travel Journal: One Week at Greencape Lighthouse NSW Australia

Just a short break for my 53rd birthday. Most of these are rough sketches done at the spur of the whilst out walking. Nothing too serious but my first usual of pastels exclusively in lieu of mixed media. Most of these sketches will be used as reference points in future journeys around that area.

Moleskines Re-Done: Covers from Vintage French Cahier (School Book) Covers

I love rescuing things from oblivion and giving them a new lease on life. Example: cover french school book covers...some VERY worse for wear are used as covers for my favourite moleskine - Ex Large Cahiers. The French advertised products on the covers which at the time (1950's - 1960's) ws a done thing. Some covers are patched up by me in interesing ways and made to fit. Its a very enjoyable thing!
